I get that now; some argue that 51% of the politically active population
should not control those who don't vote, can't vote, or have unpopular ideas.

But I still disagree with it. The minority is still being controlled by the  
majority (mission failed) and the filibuister is probably the real reason why 
congress never does anything useful.
