That's a good point, and I understand that the filibuster served a good
purpose at that time, but I still think that the majority should rule.

The majority rules in elections, and that works out pretty good.

Worst case scenario for if there were no filibuster in 1964: The Civil Rights
Act would have had to wait another year or 2.
