I'm guessing in your situation.. Allfix cannot post directly to Synchronet's
message bases. So you generate a text file and post it up via smbutil. In this
case, yes.. Synchronet is most likely generating the MSGID.

Mind you, none of your Allfix postings have ever ended up in my DUPE area
either, so something must be right. :)

Mark seems to be saying he's posting directly into JAM areas, which it can do.
I haven't seen any of his Allfix posts in my DUPE area either, so again..
something must be right there as well.
