Well, for some reason I can't get BinkD to install as a service in the
virtualized XP; hatch frags my system; and while port forwarding works fine
for BinkD, the serial port was too slow f  o   r      w     o   r d    s.

I have to run BinkD, BinkleyTerminal, Squish, Allfix, and Areafix in the
virtual machine; keep my inbound, outbound, and file echo areas on what the
virtual machine thinks is a network share; and run Radius on the host side to
handle the serial connections.


It's a horrible setup, and it has one big problem that I can't work around:
when the programs in the virtual machine scan the directories on the "share",
they don't see all of the files. I have to run multiple passes of Squish to
get it to toss all of the bundles in my inbound.

I don't know why that is happening, but I haven't figured out a way around it.
