Bob never did any Allfix programming, Ken Johnson was the author after Harald
Harms.

There has been no progress since 2013.

  Dear ALLFIX user,

  I am happy to be able to bring you this new version of ALLFIX.

  This is the third gamma version of ALLFIX 6.0. In this version,
  All registration nags have been removed, and all registered only
  features are now fully enabled for all to take advantage of.

  Being a gamma, this version may contain bugs. We, therefore, advise you
  to use caution if you want to upgrade to this version. Please make a
  backup of your current ALLFIX configuration before you proceed.

  This version of ALLFIX contains an echomail tosser. We have not
  finished the documentation yet. If you have any problems setting up
  the echomail tosser, please post them in the ALLFIX_HELP.

  In this archive, you will find a file called DISCREP.RPT. This file can
  be used to submit a "Discrepancy Report". I would very much appreciate
  it if you would use this file when you are reporting a bug or making a
  feature request. Please send the completed forms to support@allfix.com.

  Incase you haven't already done so, please take a moment and check out
  our web site. We will try to keep you up to date with all of the changes
  taking place, via the web site. You can find us at:

          http://www.allfix.com

  If you are upgrading from a version prior to 6.0.21, then please
  run through the following steps to upgrade your configuration.

  **** IMPORTANT *****
    MAKE A BACKUP OF ALL YOUR DATA FILES and PROGRAM FILES in case you
    need to rollback to them!

      1. Make sure that you run ALLFIX ANNOUNCE to send out any annoucements
      2. run UPDATE to update your Magicfile names and your Hatch
         configuration. (Pre v5 only)
      3. Update your File Manager Entries, Group and Node entries

      4. Run ASETUP Index
      5. Run FCOMP
      6. Run UPDINT. This program will update your internet spoll
         files to the new format.

  As of version 6.0 We will no longer be providing technical support for
  ALLFIX 4.xx or ALLFIX 5 Versions. The "How To" questions are, of course,
  always welcome.

    Again, I want to remind you to make a backup of your files before you
  begin installing this version.
