You use a packet sniffer, which exists in every known environment       (operating system). This also brings me to a point, if you do listen to       communication from MSN, youll see as soon as you part from a discussion,       the port doesn't actually close, infact you can read all messages from       that discussion, even when you aren't still part of the group. I found       it quite by accident.              2. Yes, there are many "open source" smtp servers that listen for       communication from your localhost:port, and others that can run directly       from the command shell. And it is also possible to create a SMTP server       to resolve and communicate with pop3/imap servers around the globe.       These exist in open projects on sorceforge.net aswell in well known       linux distrobutions              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
