   Standard zip uses a proprietry enc. scheme....very easily breakable   
      
   "Winrar" used to use rc4.   
   From ver 3.00 or so onwards it shifted to AES.   
      
   RC4 bruting was fast... so you could take a shot.   
      
   AES bruter could do say 8000 words a sec. on a decent P4. A dictionary with   
   a million words would take 125 second.. two mins.   
      
   Say you try 10 dictionaries with 3 million words each..   
   10 * 3 * 2 mins = 60 mins.   
      
   hmm.. you know it could be faster now.. since all this comes from behind   
   the times :)
