XPost: alt.2600.hackerz       From: sanka803@voila.fr              Hi,              I have a small problem and I suppose the solution to be very simple but       I don't find it and I'm blocked.              I found a way to extract data from a SQL Server database using SQL       injection, I can see the connection from the remote host passing thru my       firewall and connecting to my workstation.       I've mounted a msde database in a virtual machine so as to retrieve the       data but that f%##ck%#g Microsoft application is refusing the connection.       I found over the net that I had to set the remote host as a "linked       server" which is, I think, somthing like a trusted connection between       the SGBDs.       but this just doesn't work.              As I don't know the Microsoft softwares very well, I'm wasting a lot of       time to resolve such a small problem... some help would be appreciated,       I'm impatient to discover the structure of my database              thanks in advance       akiuni              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
