   Things to check:

   1. Is the terminal services Windows component installed on the server to
   which you're trying to connect?

   2. Is the server behind a firewall? If it is, you need to open the
appropriate port (3389 if I remember correctly, but you'll need to verify
that) and be certain that the packets are being passed to the correct
   internal I/P address.

   3. Did you test it from a computer that's on the local subnet of the
server? If you can make the terminal connection from the local subnet but
not from a remote location, it's almost certainly a firewall issue. If you
can't make a terminal connection from the local subnet, either terminal
services is not installed or it's not working properly.
