   Yes, with your hands, warm water, soap if necessary, and the softest   
   lint-free cloth you can find. Wet the disk down, wipe in straight   
   lines from the center out -- NOT I REPEAT ***NOT*** around the disk!   
   If there are still smudges/fingerprints/whatever, repeat with soap.   
   Make sure there are no spots left when the disk is dry.   
      
   If there are scratches, then the disk may need to be resurfaced. You   
   should be able to buy a resurfacer (or "repairer") for not too much   
   money.
