Otherwise, you're on your own.              There are ways that are 100% legal that don't require membership in the       legal community or direct interaction with the phone company. Just off       the top of my head, I can think of several, of which four are definitely       legal, and another may or may not be, depending on local laws.              1) Ask the owner. (Captain Obvious to the rescue!)       2) Search the Internet.       3) Hire a P.I.              Methods 4 and 5 are left as an exercise for the student.
