   Hello, my name is Rocky. I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been   
   reading this, and other similar usenet boards for a while now. A little bit   
   about myself should be in order. I am currently military, with the only   
   computer knowledge I have being what I have learned as a hobby, and from   
   books. Honestly, I haven't been able to apply what I learn on a large scale   
   for a long time now. In 1999, I earned my A+ certification, and in 2000   
   earned MCSA. In 2005 I earned network+ and security+ certifications. I am   
   looking at redoing my A+ and MCSA, and possibly getting MCSE within the next   
   year before I separate from the military. In three weeks, I will be taking   
   the EC-Council CEH exam. Of course, a job in the computer security market   
   would be my *ideal* job. It is something I have been interested in for a   
   long time now.   
      
   However, I am a realist, and know this is a pipedream for someone with no   
   actual hands-on experience. So, as a back up plan, I will be applying for   
   various jobs in the city I will be living in. Probably end up working for   
   the state, or something similar. I intend to work one of these entry   
   computer jobs for a few years, maybe progress from the entry level a bit.   
   Then maybe, one day I can go into business for myself. Sink or swim, right?

   That being said, I only wanted to introduce myself, in case I post a   
   question about something you may say. I only wish to learn, and if I see   
   something I don't recognize, I will try and learn what it means. Google is   
   my friend, but sometimes we need the answer *dumbed down*. Thank you for
