Wrong, anyone that says you cant do it is very misinformed. It is an
electronic device. I am a computer scientist and engineer so I can tell you
ANY electronic device can be hacked period, especially if you have physical
access to it. There are plenty of
videos and posts explaining how to accomplish this. Getting the device off is
the easy part, you can remove any HIP anklet in a Faraday cage without setting
off an alarm since Faraday cages block all electronic signals. How it is
   monitored however
differs from model to model so you would have to research how to maintain the
illusion that it is still functioning properly until you are able to put it
back on, which obviously means you would have to remove it without permanently
   damaging it. Again,
there are posts and videos that explain how to accomplish this. If you think
its worth your freedom to attempt happy researching and good luck.
