   i have never tried that but even if you heat it up and stretch it my   
   understanding is that ankle bracelets use fiber optic to keep the signal going   
   which is a light that goes around.  Also my understanding is you can stretch   
   the ankle bracelet 5-10% of    
   its current state.  So unless they put it on excessively loose on your ankle i   
   dont see that working.  Once you over stretch it and if you cause the fiber   
   optic signal to break your in deep shit!  I believe the only way around stuff   
   like this unless you    
   have a small heal and can do what they are recommending is to block the   
   signal.  Now I found that you can order gps/gsm blockers but i believe it   
   sends a signal/alert to your PO when the signal is lost.  So if your able to   
   get away with anything it will    
   be for a short period of time 1-2 hours before they question why the signal is   
   lost...
