I came here wondering if they put an ankle bracelet on undocumented immigrants   
   rather than detain them would be a viable solution so that families didn’t   
   need to be separated. I think I got my answer. These things appear to be   
   easily enough removed but    
   the suppression of notifications is harder to achieve. This makes it less   
   viable to use for someone that is at high risk of just fleeing.
