Testing RF Signal Detection On X13 affordable bug detector device, sold on the
   i
nternet. We use a baofeng, wireless remote, and HackRF + Portapack to test the
   s
ensitivity on the X13. This one claims to find hidden GPS, cameras, and other
   el
ectronic spy devices. Today is the unboxing video with minimal tests. Later, we
may set up some additional real-world examples to test out.

The baofeng UV-5R is a very powerful radio, and isn't quite the right power
   leve
l - so we break out the HackRF + Portapack, to more closely mirror a lower
   power
   ed transmitting 'bug'.

While I bought the X13 (thanks for supporting this) to test on video for
   everyon
e, in a real situation, if an employee or criminal installed hidden cameras /
   mi
crophones in your business, the X13 could work for you. But how close might you
have to be? Watch the video to find out.
