XPost: alt.california.illegals, alt.journalism, alabama.general       XPost: alt.abortion       From: americanvoices@mail.house.gov              LEWIS CENTER, Ohio -              Authorities in Delaware County are seeking the public's help to       locate a suspect in the sexual assault of a male victim in a       Central Ohio park.              According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, the assault       occurred at Highbanks Metro Park in Lewis Center on Tuesday at       about 4:30 p.m.              "The park was fairly crowded during that time there were       numerous people out enjoying the park," said Delaware County       Sheriff's Office Captain Kevin Savage.              Investigators said the suspect encouraged an 18-year-old male       who was hiking to walk off the trail approximately 75 feet north       of the overlook deck area, where he pushed him to the ground and       sexually assaulted him.              "The suspect was trying to encourage the victim to go off that       trail with him. The victim became concerned by the tenor of that       conversation so he started going away from that suspect. That's       when the suspect knocked him over," Savage said.              A composite sketch of the suspect was released by the sheriff's       office Wednesday afternoon.              Investigators said the suspect is described as a middle-aged       male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 170 pounds with salt-and-pepper       hair, and a goatee with graying hair.              The victim said the suspect has a slight accent, and is of       Indian descent.              He was wearing a white T-shirt with black vertical stripes, and       black running shorts at the time of the assault.              Investigators said the suspect appears to be familiar with the       park and its various trails.              Area resident Diane Hoisbaur says she has been running at       Highbanks Metro Park for more than a decade, but she could tell       something was different on Tuesday.              "I took note that it was eerily quiet on the trail. There       weren't a lot of people the normal people that I see weren't       there," said Hoisbaur.              She says the normal traffic was replaced by helicopters, park       rangers, and deputies.              "I came out of the clearing and saw all the vehicles there,"       said Hoisbauer. "I wasn't really sure what had happened.” She       also noticed a fellow runner, who also frequents the trail, was       very distressed.              "He was carrying a brown bag and it looked like he had a       different change of clothes…he went into the bathroom and came       out,” Hoisbauer said.              Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at       740-833-2800.              http://www.nbc4i.com/story/26215121/sketch-released-of-suspect-       in-metro-park-sexual-assault                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
