XPost: alt.california.illegals, alt.politics.elections, alt.jour       alism.newspapers       XPost: alt.culture.alaska       From: beaners@cadems.com              Apparently this isn't newsworthy for the pro-Mexican, pro-       Democrat, Jerry Brown felching LA Times.              California police have arrested four suspects who allegedly       murdered nearly 1,000 chickens with a golf club and similar       object last month.              Gabriel Quintero, 18, of Riverdale, was arrested as well as       three juvenile boys, two age 17 and a 15 year-old, by officers       Wednesday night, reports the Fresno County Sheriff's Office.              On Wednesday, police announced the brutal slaughter of 927       chickens that took place at a Foster Farms facility in Caruthers       on the morning of Sept. 20.              The horrific crime drew response from several people in the area       who provided tips, police said.              The Fresno-based farm, which boast of providing locally grown       chickens and being certified by the American Humane Society,       offered a reward as well as other animal rights organizations.              "This is an unconscionable act," spokesman Ira Brill told the       Daily News Wednesday. "This is the act of someone who is       seriously sick."              Police said information was shared via social media on possible       suspects and they were led to a home that was shared by a 17       year-old and 15 year-old that afternoon.              Officers found evidence linking the two to the crime and       arrested the two boys at the home. They also developed       information that led to the arrest of the other 17 year-old and       Quintero Wednesday night.              The four suspects are being held on charges of burglary and       felony cruelty to animals, police said.              A police spokesman declined to state to The News why the       suspects committed these acts or if they had a previous history       of animal cruelty.              jlandau@nydailynews.com Follow on Twitter @joelzlandau              http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/police-arrest-suspects-       slaughter-927-chickens-article-1.1960932                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
