   You are referring to the judgment that fell upon   
   the antediluvians on account of their incorrigible   
   wickedness.   
      
   Jesus said that the condition of things would be   
   similar to that.as we near the end of the world.   
      
   At such time He will not use water, but ~fire~   
   to destroy the wicked.   
      
   "He will come with his mighty angels, in flaming   
    fire, bringing judgment on those who don't know   
    God and on those who refuse to obey the Good   
    News of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished   
    with eternal destruction, forever."
