   The term "gods" here are members of the divine   
   council. They are as governors or rulers in God's   
   vast creation. They have authority, but not divine   
   power. And they are not worshipped.   
      
   Jesus refers to this "divine council" in Matthew 5:22.   
      
   This is a big Universe. We have no idea how large   
   it is.
