   If you want to get along with law enforcement, 1) don't be a jerk; 2) comply   
   with their orders; 3) assuming you've been respectful and done nothing wrong,   
   you'll be on your way shortly.   
      
   4) Be an uncooperative jerk, get your butt handed to you and wind up in jail.
