   That doesn't take into account the core expense of staying   
   alive.  Things like food, shelter, clothing, energy, and in   
   today's world transportation.   
      
   X% of one person could be the difference between living and   
   dying while that same X% of another would not impact their   
   lifestyle much less their life.  A flat tax sounds good but   
   it would be complex to implement.

   display or support of religion or
