Excuse me but it is socialist. We have
   1. socialized medicine
   2. the dole
   3. public transport
   4. public ownership of many things from power plants to railroads
   5. govt support of the arts
   etc etc etc

74% of Australias are against the war in Iraq and basically its John
Howard that is allied not the Australia people.

Colorado tends to have right wingers in the state house in the country
and richer suburbs and democrats and left leaning centerists from the
cities. The Mayor of Denver is a Democrat last I looked.

There are no commies in Colorado, communism died 14 years ago when the
USSR imploded. Perhaps you missed George 41 when he announced it and
   a New World Order?

And what am I? Well to start with unlike the coward in the white
house I'm a Viet Nam Vet. I ran my own business in Colorado and New
Mexico for about 18 years. In 1988 I was invited to come to Australia
to work and am now semi-retired doing defence related consulting on
the side plus writing now and again.

I have 10 years of college and two degrees and work on a History
   Masters and two more BA's.
