## The people here who do this are not Gov. funded. The local churches in
my area are now taking up collections of food, personal items and clothing
for the victims of Katrina. The Gov. is not paying them a cent and the
church itself pays the bills for the building and utilities used.
Volunteers will drive the trucks down south.... no Gov. involved. Where
are the JWs? What are they doing to help the non-JW victims of this storm
and flood?

## See above. I don't know of any churches where I live that are getting
Gov. funds.

## You tell me. Are you saying the WTS would pay medical expenses or
burial expenses if it happened? They didn't pay one dime when the Lililids
were murdered here in TN on their way home from an assembly. They didn't
pay one cent towards the boys medical expenses who survived the massacre.

Since when? When the RC Church picked up my friend's bills in Florida (he
was about to be evicted waiting for his SSD claim to go through) it came
from the church coffers, not the priest's pocket. He was not required to
pay it back. The RC Church which the WTS considers Satan's church also paid
all the burial expenses for a neighbor's young daughter who died of spinal
meningitis. The family were deeply in debt trying to save the child's life.
And, no I'm not catholic but must say that church reaches out and helps when
there is a dire need. The WTS does NOTHING for JWs in need. The Mormons
are the same....... while these churches are spending money to help people
in and outside their own churches the WTS is building huge opulent
palace-like complexes like the Patterson Complex in NY, to their own glory.
