We've certainly been taught that atheists don't fall into that category by
the people themselves. I've also been taught the same thing about
eliminationists who try to conceal their true objective by cloaking it under
   the
gross mi$nomer "animal rights". When I was still very new to them I remember a
poster quoting some famous person who said something like: 'All "aras" lie'. At
the time I was as yet unaware of the huge difference between the misnomer and
Animal Welfare, but after I learned the difference and got more experience with
eliminationists (who he referred to by the misnomer "aras") they taught me, as
the atheists have done, that they do all lie. They are VERY comfortable with
dishonesty, and like the atheists they don't criticise each other for their
dishonesties no matter how stupidly blatant.
