   To me, consciousness and intelligence are different aspects of the mind.   
   There are also other aspects like emotion, memory, courage, compassion,   
   and wisdom, etc.   
      
   As for plants having minds, I believe all lives have minds. As long as   
   there is consciousness, there is mind.
