   I've got several bibles, a few New Testaments (a couple marked as for   
   evangelizing), two different editions of the Episcopalian Book of Common   
   Prayer (one from my confirmation, the 1928 edition, and one the 1982   
   updated edition from my grad school years), two or three Books of Mormon   
   (when I remember to ask for one from a Mormon website, just to fuck with   
   them), a Pearl of Great Price, one or two books of Mormon extra   
   writings, mostly wrt the disciplines of the church, a Bhagavad Gita, a   
   Mahabharata somewhere, a Rig Veda, a copy of The Upanishads, a .pdf copy   
   of The Popol-Vuh, The Golden Bough and assorted computer copies of   
   Sumerian, African and some miscellaneous other myths and religious-like   
   texts.   
      
   I am intrigued by the various ways people have found to pawn off   
   responsibility for their lives on sky (or other) fairies and monsters   
   (biblegod being an example of both). This collection came in handy in my   
   deconversion process, as it became harder and harder to justify saying I   
   was a Christian, even an Episcopalian, when the array of choices was so   
   overwhelmingly varied and incompatable with each other.
