   It means that your bag was one of those chosen by the computer randomly to   
   be given a special search. Sort of like a lottery.  When I was in the Navy   
   they did random drug tests based on drawing SSNs form a hat. Three times in   
   a row the Admiral, myself and two Captains were drawn. Funny but that's the   
   luck of the draw.   
   Don't worry about it. Your not being singled out. It could happen to anyone.   
   My wife has had it happen EVERY time she has flown in the last 2 years.
