   NEW YORK (Dow Jones/AP) -- The chief executive of JetBlue Airways said the   
   low-cost airline will expand in the Midwest and the mid-Atlantic when it   
   begins receiving new, smaller planes in 2005.   
      
   During an investor presentation that was broadcast Tuesday on the Internet,   
   Chief Executive David Neeleman said the new 100-seat Embraer 190 airplanes   
   on order will prompt the expansion.   
      
   The 190s will ``allow us to go into cities like Chicago or Columbus or   
   Indianapolis,'' Neeleman said.   
      
   Currently, JetBlue flies larger Airbus 320 planes to 18 cities, including   
   Tampa and Orlando, Fla., Buffalo, N.Y., New Orleans, Denver and Salt Lake   
   City.
