   going back to "the potential of COS" - Western Pacific tried to do that a   
   few years ago and got slapped around pretty badly - there just isn't the   
   "desire" for folks from the more populous Denver area to go to COS even   
   though the service is better and the access better - at least from areas   
   south of Denver.  UA  having a fortress hub there doesn't help, either and   
   then there's that little matter of the sheer mind boggling cost of what was   
   spent to BUILD the new Denver airport...   
      
   Someone once mentioned in this NG something about any airline that serviced   
   Colorado had to go to DEN or something to that effect...
