   San Diego is one of those places. For people going to Latin America,   
   sometimes it's better to cross the border to Tiajuana to fly. Other   
   times, long distance trips are often routed through LAX, in which case   
   it can be easier to rent a car and drive to LAX, rather than get a   
   connecting flight with a long stopover.
