   What are you talking about? There was a long trade embargo against Iraq.   
   From what I have been hearing in the news lately, the embargo did prevent   
   Saddam from building up his stash of WMD so it looks to me like this   
   war was for nothing. Bush set out to find Saddam's WMD and retrieve them.   
   That did not happen because Saddam had no WMD, as he claimed many times.
