   How do you know? Perhaps they went for a family visit and were at the wrong   
   place, at the wrong time. In democratic, free societies of law it works like   
   this, remember:  innocent until proven guilty.

   Indeed, nobody knows and for sure it can't be proven.   
      
   I was happy that many suspects of planning terrorism in the Netherlands were   
   freed by the courts. Why? Because it means that we still have an open   
   society where people can only be put behind bars if there is PROOF against   
   them. Independent courts ruled that there was no proof in the cases they   
   were presented by Prosecution.   
   I'd rather have a couple of terrorists on the road (and their actions will   
   be monitored) than live in a society which puts people behind bars (or   
   worse) without any legal process. (Guantanamo)
