From: wnoeker@t-online.de              It's coming on Christmas, they're cutting down trees,       they're putting up reindeer and playing songs of the season on the radio       again.       Unfortunately this usually includes:              Wham! "Last Christmas" = "Watch this!" (slams arm)              A Christmas album that I really like is "The Dawn of Grace" by Sixpence       None the Richer. It has cute versions of "Silent Night" and Joni       Mitchell's "The River", and the first song on it is:              Angels we have heard on high ~ have golden wings here. Ha ha.       = "Oh, we gave her healing hands?"              Sixpence None the Richer = Her pix on the screen - nice!       The Dawn of Grace = "Fear God", we chant.              And finally, to come back to what is played on the radio:       Do they know it's Christmas? = Timid shots? Try shock 'n' awe!              (Sorry about that. Feel free to come up with a more cheerful message.)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
