   I read a book about tournament scrabble called Word Freak by Stefan Fatsis. It   
   is great fun, if a little concerning!! I mentioned it to someone on Facebook,   
   who I met while playing Scrabble Online a couple of years ago. He is a   
   tournament Scrabble player    
   (albeit in the Czech language!) and given that my head was full of this book I   
   had just read, I recommended it to him. "Do you know of it?", I naively asked.   
   'Actually, I am mid way through translating it for the author into Czech' he   
   said :-)
