   Now I've got it. I had even heard about him on the radio, and your   
   anagram was a very obvious hint. But it took me a brute force search   
   through the list at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deaths_in_2016 to   
   realize it. And no, I wouldn't call him a moron. :-)

   Yup. That's a trio, if there's ever been one.   
      
   On tributes.com I was also reminded that "Metric pancake" died last   
   year. Blame it on my "young age", but to me he'll always be James Bond's   
   driver in that movie with the Golden Gate bridge.
