From: dfreemans@live.com              C O N T I N U E D F R O M P R E V I O U S P O S T                            EPILOGUE                       MANY YEARS AGO, when I had moved to Virginia Beach in August 1994, one        of my first activities was of course visiting the A.R.E. campus.               On one such occasion, I was sitting in the Meditation Room on the third       floor of the Library/Conference Building. Deep in silence peace bliss,        I was suddenly startled by a noisy tumult. Immediately looking to my       right, I saw that it was emitting from a group of people entering the       room [which I later learned had been the daily tour group]. Well, an       individual male was leading the tour group that day, and I recognized       him as one of the A.R.E. employees that I had seen pictures of over       the years when I had formerly been living at a distance. To my absolute       shock, at the end of the talk that he gave to the group he said to them,       "Just relax. You have nothing to worry about. We are all going to make        it." The Bible has warnings. The Readings say to pay attention to and        heed those warnings. Jesus said that only the few shall make it, and       only of those who have patience to the end. So how outrageous for this        male to make this statement to these people. Then he asked if anyone       had a question or comment, and I remained silent. However, after several       years of reading and seeing and hearing, up-close and first-hand, many        additional outrageous and erroneous things, I began in November 1998 to       deliver corrective communications to A.R.E. employees, including this       one. Regarding the latter, my main and first communication to him was       that his espousal of the doctrine of Universal Salvation - which by now       he has also put forth in numerous of his books and elsewhere - is against        both The Readings and The Bible. His response was to send me several       Reading quotes which, if taken out of context and/or not rendered in       light of all of the rest of the Readings, might be construed to seem to       suggest that the doctrine of Universal Salvation is a true one. So what       can one do if they are dealing with someone who is satisfied with not       applying the two cardinal rules of reading comprehension - 1. Context;       and 2. Comparison? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Worse than this, later       on I found out when reading his brief bio that he believed in this doctrine        before he ever read any of the Readings and that then when he first heard        about the Readings the first thing that he was most anxious to find out was        if the Readings espouse this doctrine and then when he began to read the        Readings - poof! - lo and behold! - they did. Ha! Ha! He has made - and        until and unless he changes, is still making - the same mistake as those        who treat the Bible as being an animal carcass to be picked at.        THE BIBLE IS NOT AN ANIMAL CARCASS! THE READINGS ARE NOT AN        ANIMAL CARCASS! THESE BODIES OF MATERIAL ARE BOTH WHOLE        CONSISTENT CONGRUENT CONTIGUOUS WORKS OF GOD, AND CANNOT        BE RIGHTLY INTERPRETED UNLESS THEY ARE ALLOWED TO INTERPRET        THEMSELVES, AND THAT MEANS TO APPLY THE TWO CARDINAL RULES OF        READING COMPREHENSION, WHICH IS WHAT I HAVE DONE, AND WHICH        IS WHY ALL OF MY WRITINGS HAVE SUCH A HIGH ACCURACY RATE AND        ACTUALLY REPRESENT AND HONOR BOTH THE READINGS AND THE BIBLE!        AMEN! AMEN! AMEN! WHEN OH WHEN WILL I BE RIGHTLY RECOGNIZED        AND PROPERLY REMUNERATED BY THE GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO SHOULD        DO SO - ESPECIALLY THE ONE PERSON OF THEM WHO HAS MADE THE        GREATEST NUMBER OF PUBLIC AND/OR PUBLISHED ERRORS AND HAS        RECEIVED THE GREATEST NUMBER OF CORRECTIVE COMMUNICATIONS        FROM ME - THE MAN WHO I HAVE BEEN DESCRIBING HERE? THEY, AND HE,        BETTER DO SO BEFORE GOD'S FIRST JUDGMENT - OR AS THE READINGS        ARE WONT TO PUT IT, RECKONING, AS IN THE OLD EXPRESSION "THE DAY        OF RECKONING" - OR ELSE THEY WILL ALL BE IN JEOPARDY OF FALLING        ON THE NOT-SO-PLEASANT SIDE OF THE FENCE. ANYONE WHO IS IN        ERROR, AND WORSE OF ALL IS PREACHING THOSE ERRORS TO THE       PUBLIC, CANNOT GET AWAY WITH NOT APPRECIATING THE ONE WHO HAS        TAKEN THE TIME AND EFFORT AND EXPENSE TO SET THINGS RIGHT IN        ORDER TO SAVE SOULS! AND PREACHING THE WORD OF TRUTH AS I HAVE        DONE AND AM STILL DOING IS A WORK WORTHY OF DOUBLE PAY THAN        ANY OTHER WORK [1 TIMOTHY 5:17]. O LORD GOD, MAY YOUR WILL BE        DONE, AND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. AMEN.                        **********              August 02 2015              J.R. replied:              Debra has provided some amazing research into the readings and their        Biblical analogs. We can contrast all this easily with New Age pontification        including "The Course in Miracles", the authoritarian, solipsistic, amoral        ramblings of a disembodied spirit. The "Course" persists in pontificating       that        the world is a dream and that sin and illness are illusionary, not requiring        judgement. This implies that all sorts of behavior is acceptable, since we       are        perfect. The Cayce readings are not as they are often portrayed by the        members of the ARE organization. The "Seth Material" and "The Course" are        more correctly the intellectual feeding ground of the New Age than the        heavily Christian Cayce.       In my view, the ARE is often a nesting area for New Agers because the        organization possesses infrastructure, a membership base and is open to        practically any non-Christian viewpoint. Frankly, I'm not a fan of main line        Christianity and I'm merely commenting on the lack of intellectual honesty I        often see. A house divided can not stand saith Lincoln.                     **********                     August 02 2015              Debra replied:              Hello J.R.:               THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR APPRECIATION AND COMPLIMENT.               Yes.
