   Wikipedia has now come out with a page on Paddock,   
   so we now have his middle name and more.

   I find it most interesting that his main thing was guns,   
   and we find all of those letters in the letters of his    
   name except one - the "u" - and in the wiki article you   
   find out that most of the places he had lived had a "u"    
   in the name: Tucson, Arizona, Sun Valley, California,    
   Melbourne, Florida, Mesquite, Nevada. What are the odds   
   of that ?!   
      
   He even went for a degree in Business Administration,    
   and worked for the Internal Revenue Service and the   
   United States Postal Service. ALL WITH A "U"!

   intuition led me to, as always is the case.   
      
   You will see the emphasis on COPS / PIGS.   
      
   If you ask me, I say that it was not just one thing   
   that led Stephen to do what he did but rather a number   
   of things that built him up to it; however, one thing   
   most of all: That apparently one run in that he had   
   with the law in regards to a minor traffic citation   
   for which he ended up with a record.   
      
   I think then having a record disturbed and upset him    
   deeply because it touched upon the history of his    
   father, the history of his father being a deep sore   
   spot with Stephen.

   Later on, when he found out all or more, apparently this   
   was a very bad shock to him, as would be expected.   
      
   Stephen was the oldest, and the oldest tend to be the   
   leaders, achievers, go-getters of the family and    
   try to make the family work and be proud.    
      
   Starting out with those happenings and realities did not   
   give poor Stephen much good to work with, and it was hard   
   on him not having a father and seeing his mother struggle.   
      
   Although his father did wrong and deserved the law, to a    
   young person you see the law as taking your father away   
   from you, and even as an adult this just never goes away.   
      
   Also, there is how his father was treated by the law and   
   its officers, as well as how Stephen was treated for his   
   minor traffic citation.    
      
   I have a feeling that in one or both cases, at least in   
   Stephen's perception, he really had a problem with the   
   attitude and treatment afforded him and or his father   
   by the law, and that that is why the anagrams call them   
   not just Cops but also the slang derogatory term Pigs.   
      
   Bottom line, I think Stephen's main target was the Cops   
   standing around at that outdoor music festival and that   
   that was why he wanted tracer bullets so that he could   
   hit the most Cops. Think about it. Except for wanting   
   to target the Cops, he would not care what anonymous   
   strangers he was hitting which would all be the same   
   to him.   
      
   And I think his point went beyond just killing as many   
   Cops as he could; I think it was to show that he is   
   superior to them, and to embarrass them, and degrade   
   them, and make them suffer, etc.   
      
   Think about it: Where do you get a bunch of Cops in one   
   spot and easy pickings as targets from a hotel room widow?   
   Outdoor music festivals !!!!   
      
   Yep. I say that is it.   
      
   P.S. Not to laugh at something so tragic, but if I am correct,   
   it is funny that they are looking for the reason and that the   
   reason is themselves and that until they realize that they will   
   never find it !!!!
