   In Iceland, Member of Parliament Eva Pandora Baldursdottir was   
   scratched in the eye by her one-year-old daughter.  Of the requirement   
   that she wear an eye patch over the weekend, she stated that it   
   'wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for the fact that I'm going to a TV   
   debate tonight'.  Baldursdottir, who represents the country's Pirate   
   Party, has not reported any plans to sever one of her legs before the   
   next such appearance.
