   That indeed is sad news. Larry was already the group's shepherd   
   when I first started posting, and one of the reasons I became so   
   attached to it, even if that was counter-productive when it came   
   to migrating off usenet later.   
      
   From a usenet-user's perspective, he's been missed for a long time,   
   but it takes on a whole new dimension now.   
      
   Rest in peace, Larry, you're not truly gone until the final mention   
   of your name, which may be centuries in the future, or more.
