   Thanks for the reply!

   I'll check that channel and start from there.

   You just need an IRC client which supports downloads, such as mIRC,
   leafchat
   or XChat, personally i use a windows version of this, XChat-WDK. Then just
   configure
   to accept incoming XDCC connections. Depending on you client
   configurations may vary.
   Then locate a channel with boots to leech from ;).

   The downloading normally goes like this.

   * Enter channel.
   * Ask for list with !list. This will make bots reports
      theirs download list to you
   * Locate file (normally file #1 it's downloadable list of the bot).
   * Ask for a file with
      * /msg BOT_NAME xdcc send FILE_NUMBER
      * /ctcp BOT_NAME xdcc send FILE_NUMBER
   * ???
   * Profit!

   Depending on your taste, you may like or not, but personally I like it
   better
   than dealing with filesharing services such as MU or RS. I'm also a big
   fan of
   torrent, but sometimes I can't keep sharing since I share my connection
   with several
   persons and my connection is not that fast (2Mbps down, ~0.6 Mbps up).

   Good luck while downloading from IRC!
   If you run into any trouble, just let me know.

   Cheers
