From: usenet1@baerana.com              Hi. I'm very new to the world of anime. My exposure so far has been       Tenchi and a few Cowboy Bebops. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tenchi and now am the       proud owner of the first two OVAs and the two TV series on DVD, as well       as the 3 movies. The Cowboy Bebops I've seen have been on the Cartoon       Network, but I enjoy them as well.              I'm looking for a good place to start exploring other anime. I live in       Crapville USA so borrowing from friends isn't an option - nor do our       library or any local bookstores carry anime or manga. I don't want to       spend a ton buying something I may not like so Ideally I would buy       something like a collection book with a variety of mangas in it, or       something like a sample DVD with an episode or two from a few series -       something to wet my feet and give me an idea what series I'm interested       in investing in. Any ideas?              I'd also love ideas for web pages to read, or anything else that may be       helpful              Also, is there a FAQ for this group? If so, please let me know where.       TIA!!!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
