   My brother and i were discussing an older Anime that we had watched as   
   young kids.  THis would be around 1985 to 1989.  I have no idea when it   
   was made, and the only things we remember about it are vague.   
      
   What we remember about it:   
      
   There was a family of 3, a father mother and a young girl possibly.  The   
   girls family got taken away somewhere.   We think that all the people in   
   the town or world were being turned into these "block" people.  I seem   
   to remember them stacking on top of each other to make buildings.  They   
   were like slaves or zombies or something... they just looked like   
   blocks.  We also remember a witch or wizard that flew around.  Maybe a   
   big nose?  We don't remember how it flew around, but this "thing" was   
   turning everyone into the block people.  The "thing" was always flying   
   around screaming.  a very frightening scream... kind of like a howl   
   maybe.  Thats all i can remember about it right now... Any help would be
