   Hmmm... Well, my recommendation would really depend on who I'm talking   
   to, since different people like different things.   
      
   My personal favorite is "Hand Maid May," but I know it's not quite to   
   some people's taste.   
      
   If I was going to make a more general recommendation it would probably   
   be "Chobits" since I haven't met anyone who'd seen it and didn't like   
   it.

   I hated "Narutaru" the worst.  Seemed like a nice show at first, but   
   from episode 2 on it went straight down to the pits of the most   
   disturbing human behaviors, with the main character apparently being the   
   only one with a conscience.  Plus it ended abruptly in the middle of the   
   story.  Blech!  It was based on the manga, which continued beyond the   
   end of the anime.   
      
   "Angel Sanctuary" was a close second for pure incomprehensibility and   
   pretentiousness (even some of the English dubbers are seen in the end   
   credits commenting that they have no idea what some of it means.)   
      
   For a more recent despised one, I really didn't like "Gilgamesh."  The   
   art was awful and the plot was depressing and weird (not in a good way.)

   Right now I'm watching "Beck," "Peach Girl," and "Mahou Shoujo Tai   
   Alice," but I have a lot of other stuff I'm planning to watch after the   
   last episodes of them are released.  "Peach Girl" is my current   
   favorite.  It's very Kare Kano-like ("Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou" a.k.a.   
   "His and Her Circumstances"), but I'm a sucker for a cute redhead as   
   well.  ^_^   
      
   Kare Kano was a good show with a lousy last few episodes (damn you   
   Gainax!) so I'm hoping "Peach Girl" makes up for it.
