Hello,   
      
   I used to watch an anime movie all the time when I was a little kid, but   
   it was so long ago that I can't remember the title.  I hope somebody out   
   there will recognize it from what I do remember.   
      
   The protagonists are a couple of rodents (squirrels, chipmunks, or   
   something similar...I remember them climbing trees and jumping from   
   branch to branch).  I think one was a boy and the other a girl.  They   
   start out in some kind of zoo or habitat and get out through a manhole,   
   have some adventures, and eventually find their way back.   
      
   One scene has one of them being chased by a bird of prey on a   
   snow-covered mountain side.   
      
   Another scene has them being chased by a big cat (snow leopard?) on the   
   mountain.  The cat ends up falling over a cliff.   
      
   That's all I can remember of it unfortunately.  It would have been   
   early- to mid-1980s when I used to watch it, so it probably came out in   
   late 1970s or early 1980s.
