|    Cleaning copper    |

From: slayte@hotmail.com              I have come across an old and very tarnished copper fire extinguisher.       Using some polish and a lot of elbow grease, I have managed to shine       up one small section very nicely, but it took a lot of work.              Is there a faster way to get it shiny? I saw a program on HGTV where       someone was dipping tarnished copper in a 'mild acid bath' and it was       coming out very shiny. Any idea what kind of acid bath would do that?              Thanks.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
