   It does make a wierd noise if shaken, kind of like sand and springs   
   inside...  I might try to make an ohmmeter measurement while talking into   
   it.   
   There is no connector on the other end, just bare wire, and the wire is in   
   bad shape.   
   I dont think it is a cigar lighter. The button may be a "push to talk"?
