   Hi.  I'm trying to identify this plush toy and get an idea of its worth   
   and/or history.   
      
   It's a bulldog in a WWII-looking cape and bobby hat.  There are stars on the   
   lapels of the cape.  Colors of the cape are olive with red trim; hat is   
   black.   
      
   The dog has a tag that says "My name is WINSTON"; the tag also says in small   
   print "Gund Mfg. Co." and "Japan."   
      
   I'm guessing this may be from WWII; any feedback welcome.
