|    Best way to sell a barograph    |
|    26 Aug 05 09:11:33    |
From: compo42@hotmail.com              Hi.              I have a barograph that I'd like to sell, and I'm not sure how to sell it to       get the best price for it. The barograph is in full working order and is in       very good condition. It has bevelled glass on 5 sides and a drawer with       spare chart papers.              I have a lot of experience of selling on ebay so that's an option. I've seen       them sell on ebay for between £200 and £500.              I've also seen barographs selling via dealers for £1,000 and upwards. So I       might be able to find a dealer that would give me a good price.              Obviously, I could also try and sell through a traditional auction house.       I've never done this before, are there specialist auction houses for such       equipment?              I'd obviously like the best price I can get, and I'm not sure which of the       options may give the best chance. I'd appreciate any advice.              Thanks              Neil              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
