|    very old wrench; To preserve or Restore?    |
|    19 Aug 06 07:11:54    |
From: estevew@centurytel.net              I recently found this old adjustable wrench       http://home.centurytel.net/Ingrid38//MachinistPics/OldWrench1.jpg              It is complete and appears that it would be fully functional with a little       bit of penetrating oil and some cleaning of the treads. However, I don't       want to do anything that would effect it's "collector" value.              I'm not planning to sell it or use it, I just want to preserve it for       display.              Can anyone offer some suggestions?? Or direct me to a Group that know       something about tool preservation??              Thanks,              Steve              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
